Paulina Nordström
ABOUT

Paulina Nordström (born 1993) is a Swedish artist based in a small town south of Stockholm. Her sculptural work is influenced by the colors, rhythms, and structures found in nature. Rather than representing specific forms, her pieces often explore organic movement, transitions of light, and the emotional presence of material. Her artistic interest began at an early age, and she describes a lasting connection to the intuitive and playful aspects of creating. This approach remains central to her practice today. Nature continues to be an important source of inspiration—particularly in how it changes and interacts with light. In recent years, her sculptures have been exhibited in various contexts, including Liljevalchs Vårsalong and smaller group and solo shows around Stockholm. In an interview with Nynäshamns-Posten (March 2024), she reflects on how she doesn’t seek to replicate nature directly, but to express its energy and liveliness through form and material.
